Interviews are not required, but recommended, so if you can, it would be a great advantage to schedule an interview. There are 2 types of interview. In the first type (most common in the UK) you will be asked to solve some problems or talk about the subject that is going to be your major. In the second type (most common in the US) you and your interviewer will talk mainly about the universtiy and life on campus.
